What is spring asthenia?

The good weather has arrived... and with it, the dreaded spring asthenia

 Spring makes the little birds sing and a lot of little flowers come out. The days are longer and you have time to do more things, but… you are super tired for no reason and you feel that you cannot cope with life.

Spring asthenia presents as generalized fatigue, both physically and mentally. Do you know the feeling of not being able to with life? Well, that expression is the one that best defines spring asthenia.

You have a hard time getting out of bed, thinking about going to work exhausts you and everything makes you ball. Don't worry, nothing strange is happening to you. Every year, with the change of season, many people experience this state, which apparently has no clear cause. It is usually associated with weather and/or time change, going from winter to spring. In this way we will gradually get used to the new schedule. It is important to take into account the schedules, especially those of meals and at bedtime, these must be regular. To do this we must establish a routine and stick to it.

If we don't get enough rest, our body won't have the energy to function all day. To improve the quality of sleep try to eat dinner at least an hour before bedtime and, if possible, a light dinner. Include fresh fruits and vegetables in your meals and reduce the consumption of processed or high-calorie foods.
